Volunteer Drivers for ACTR Wanted

ACTR is always looking for volunteer drivers for our door to door Dial-A-Ride program.  Many residents need to get to medical appointments or buy food or have access to other critical services but have no transportation of their own and cannot access the Bus System.

Driver benefits

As a volunteer driver for ACTR you give your time but receive many benefits in return:

PART-TIME BUS DRIVER – RANDOLPH AREA

Do you enjoy working with the public? Are you interested in doing valuable work that supports our community and the environment? Consider joining our team as a Bus Driver! We are seeking a dedicated individual to work up to 30 hours a week. Our drivers work on the front line ensuring all our riders receive safe and reliable transportation.

Position Requires:
• A good driving record
• Strong customer service skills and experience
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. and maneuver large mobility devices
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement, Onsite training available for the right candidate
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude
• A high level of professionalism

Field Operations Supervisor

Tri-Valley Transit Inc., DBA Stagecoach Transportation Services (STSI), is seeking a highly motivated individual to be the Field Operations Supervisor for its community transportation operations. The ideal candidate will support STSI in its mission to enhance the economic, social and environmental health of the region by providing public transportation services that are safe, reliable, accessible and affordable for everyone.

The Field Operations Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the daily field supervision and performance evaluation of STSI’s Bus Drivers in Randolph and Bradford. Overall responsibilities include:

• Perform field observations of drivers
• Coach drivers on safety, customer service & regulations
• Assistance with training
• Backup driving
• Providing support to the Operations Manager

 This position requires a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement. Onsite training is available for the right candidate. Computer proficiency is preferred.
