    Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve

    • No change to Middlebury or Snow Bowl Shuttle schedules.
    • Burlington LINK’s last loop of the day will depart Middlebury’s Merchant’s Row at 3:15pm
    • Rutland Connector afternoon buses will depart Middlebury’s Merchant’s Row only at 12:30pm and 4:15pm.

    Christmas Day

    • There will be no bus service on Christmas Day.

    New Year’s Day

    • The Snow Bowl Shuttle will be the only bus running on New Year’s Day.

    Mondays following Christmas and New Year’s Day

    • Snow Bowl Shuttle will be the only ACTR bus running and ACTR’s administrative office will be closed on the Monday’s immediately following the holidays.  Because the holidays fall on a Sunday, they will be observed on Monday.

    Ski Season Schedule Kicking Off

    (UPDATED 12/7/16) – To accommodate the early opening of Snow Bowl on December 9, ACTR will serve that stop by request Thursdays and Fridays until the Ski Season bus schedule begins daily service on December 19th.

    (posted on 12/6/16) ACTR kicks off its daily Snow Bowl Shuttle Bus Ski Season Schedule on Monday, December 19 – just in time for school vacation!  The Snow Bowl bus connects Middlebury to Rikert and Snow Bowl via East Middlebury.  The Ski Season weekday schedule will offer six runs Mondays thru Thursdays and eight on Fridays. The Ski Season weekend schedule will offer six runs on both Saturdays and Sundays.

    Regular fare on the Snow Bowl Shuttle is $1 each way. Reduced fare is 50 cents each way for those aged 6-17, 60+, or ADA eligible.   Monthly passes for January and/or February are now available for purchase in addition to the 10-ride passes that are available year round.  Middlebury College students with valid ID can ride the Snow Bowl Shuttle fare-free thanks to support from their Student Government Association.

    Please note that Thursday/Friday Off-Peak service on the Snow Bowl Shuttle remains available, although the October through mid-December 2016 date range was inadvertently omitted from the Off-Peak schedule.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Dial-A-Ride

    ACTR offers additional transportation service for people for whom regular bus service does not work. If you are aged 60+ or have a disability, or are eligible for Medicaid or Reach Up, you may be eligible for FREE rides. Depending on eligibility, services can include rides to: meal-sites, medical and social or employment-related appointments. All Volunteer Drivers who provide these rides have undergone background checks and their vehicles are inspected to meet ACTR’s safety and comfort standards.  Read More…
