Medicaid Transportation

Medicaid transportation is a free service for all Medicaid-eligible residents of Addison County. To be eligible, a person must be enrolled in either the traditional fee-for-service Medicaid program or in the Primary Care Plus managed care program. Rides are most often provided by ACTR volunteer drivers or by family members who qualify under Medicaid's hardship guidelines. Volunteers and family members are reimbursed for their mileage expenses. In certain circumstances, ACTR will provide transportation in an ACTR vehicle, such as for wheelchair users.
