Carpooling/Park & Ride

ACTR's Carpooling (RIDESHARE) Program is a nation-wide program with a goal to reduce the number of single occupant vehicles (SOVs) that travel our roads. Carpooling also saves you money. You can save $2000 to $3000 a year in car repair and maintenance costs, gas expenses, and parking fees.

In order to facilitate carpooling and the use of the bus routes, the following park and rides are utilized by ACTR

Park and rides

Bridport – Across the street from the town offices just off route 22A
Bristol - Corner of route 16 and route 17 North
Cornwall – In the town office parking lot on route 30
Middlebury – Middlebury Beef, route 7 south
Middlebury – Middlebury storage on Exchange Street
New Haven – Route 7 and 17 Jiffy Mart
Leicester - Next to the town office building on the Leicester/Whiting Road
Salisbury - Junction of Maple Street and West Salisbury Road just off route 7
Vergennes - Corner of route 22A and route 4
