ACTR-MVRTD Launch “The Connector”
Addison County Transit Resources (ACTR), in partnership with Marble Valley Regional Transit District (The Bus), began operating public transportation service between Rutland and Middlebury on Monday, December 4, 2006. The service, which offersfour trips between the tow municipalities every Monday through Friday, has been designed so that riders can make connections to existing public transit routes in both locations. To encourage commuters to try the new route, the service is being offered fare free during the month of December. In January, both agencies will begin charging a fare.
